TOYOTA — Current Sedan Models

TOYOTA — Current Sedan Models

1. Toyota Corolla — Compact Sedan

Position: Entry-level compact sedan
Powertrain: Gasoline
Starting MSRP: about $23,125
Fuel economy: up to 50 mpg combined depending on configuration
Drive: Front-wheel drive

The Corolla remains Toyota's global-volume compact sedan. The 2026 model is available in LE, SE and XSE trims.

Highlights

  • Compact and economical
  • Toyota Safety Sense 3.0
  • Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
  • Available 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster
  • Strong reliability/value proposition

Best for: Everyday commuting, families, fleet use and cost-conscious buyers.

2. Toyota Corolla Hybrid — Compact Hybrid Sedan

Position: Fuel-efficient compact sedan
Powertrain: 1.8L hybrid system
Starting MSRP: about $24,975
Fuel economy: up to 53/46 mpg city/highway
Drive: FWD, with AWD available

The Corolla Hybrid essentially takes the Corolla formula and adds Toyota's highly mature hybrid system. Toyota lists Hybrid LE, Hybrid SE and Hybrid XLE versions.

Best for: Maximum fuel economy without moving to a fully electric vehicle.

3. Toyota Camry — Midsize Sedan

Position: Mainstream midsize sedan
Powertrain: Hybrid
Starting MSRP: $29,600
Power: up to 232 net combined hp
Fuel economy: up to 51 mpg combined
Drive: FWD or available AWD

The current Camry is particularly important because Toyota has moved the entire U.S. Camry range to hybrid power. It is offered in LE, SE, Nightshade, XLE and XSE trims.

Best for: The traditional family sedan buyer who wants comfort, efficiency and long-term ownership value.

4. Toyota Crown — Premium Full-Size Sedan

Position: Premium/full-size sedan
Powertrain: Hybrid / Hybrid MAX depending on trim
Starting MSRP: approximately $41,640 for the 2027 model
Drive: AWD

The Crown sits above the Camry in Toyota's passenger-car hierarchy. It combines sedan styling with a somewhat elevated crossover-like driving position. Toyota describes it as its full-size four-door offering.

Highlights

  • Premium interior
  • AWD
  • Hybrid powertrain
  • Available powerful Hybrid MAX system
  • More upscale technology and materials

Best for: Buyers who want something more luxurious than a Camry without moving to Lexus.

5. Toyota Mirai — Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Sedan

Position: Premium alternative-energy sedan
Powertrain: Hydrogen fuel-cell electric
Starting MSRP: $51,795
Range: approximately 402 miles EPA-estimated
Fuel: Hydrogen
Tailpipe emissions: Water

The Mirai is one of the most technologically distinctive vehicles in Toyota's lineup. Rather than storing electricity in a large battery, its fuel-cell system generates electricity onboard from hydrogen. Toyota lists a 402-mile EPA-estimated range for the 2026 Mirai.

Best for: Buyers interested in hydrogen mobility and zero-tailpipe-emission technology.

Important: Its practicality depends heavily on access to hydrogen refueling infrastructure.

Toyota Sedan Lineup — Quick Comparison

Toyota's official lineup confirms the Corolla, Camry, Crown and Mirai as current four-door offerings; the Prius is also categorized among Toyota's midsize cars, but it is technically a five-door liftback rather than a conventional sedan, so I would keep it separate in a sedan catalogue.
